Our mission is to be able to identify, define, design, map, analyze and deliver an organized, sharable geospatial-centric information infrastructure of Borno State. Our services are tailored for efficient use of geographically referenced data and resource management through an interactive mapping application that can allow easy location of properties by searching with owner’s name or file number. The result will display key ownership information like: address, plot number, beacons, layers and aerial photography, measured size, printable maps, identifiable landmark features, survey and metadata details.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capture-Scan, High Quality Compression & Conversion all existing Hardcopy Land Files and Maps into Digital Files
  • Continuous Re-Updating of Digital Files
  • Indexed Archiving and Digital Search
  • Scanning and Printing of Large Sized A0 Maps for Commercial Services
  • Network Services
  • Hi-Tech Real-time Security
  • GIS Digitalization and Re-issuance of Certificates
  • Geospatial Information Mapping using Drone for Commercial Services

Customer Care

The Customer Care Service is a unit under the ICT Department charged with the following duties and responsibilities among other:

  • Serve as the face of BOGIS to the general public
  • Customer Services (Is a friendly and transparent interface for all Borno State populace to simplify all their Land & Property related issues and/or documentations)
  • Provide first hand guide to naive customers
  • Capture all entry Mail transactions and Borno State gazzetted services
  • Provide POS as means of payment for all monetary services to be rendered by BOGIS
  • Provide feedback to all customer regards all their submissions.
