Born on the 9th January 1977, Mustapha ALI IBRAHIM, hails from Bama Local Government Area of Borno State. He attended Central Primary School Bama, between 1983-1989. Then moved to Maiduguri where he attended Government College Maiduguri, between 1989-1994. In the year 1997, he obtained a Diploma in Civil Law from the infamous Borno College of Legal and Islamic Studies (BOCOLIS). In 2004, he obtained a degree in LLB & Sharia, from the prestigious University of Maiduguri and attended the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos in the year 2004-2005.
Mustapha worked at Masu Chambers, a General Legal Practice for a period of one year before finally going for his one-year compulsory, (NYSC) service at Group Human Resources Department, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Abuja as Litigation and Discipline Officer.
In 2008, Mustapha venture into a banking career. He worked for Unity Bank Plc. as Credit Officer, Lake Chad Road Branch, Maiduguri between Apr. 2008 – July 2008. Later on moved to New Marte Branch as the Teller between July 2008 – Nov 2008. He became the Customer Service Officer, for the bank’s Dikwa Branch from Nov. 2008- June 2009. He was a Team Member for Debt Recovery, North East Zone between June 2009- Nov. 2011. Then later moved to Kirikasamma Branch from 23rd Nov. 2011- 20th Jan. 2012 as Branch Team Member. On the 20th of Jan. 2012 – 23rd of Aug 2012, he was the Regional Legal Officer, Maiduguri Region and later became the Zonal Legal Services Officer, North East Zone from 23rd Aug 2012 – 31st Dec 2013. After a successful career journey in the banking industry, Mustapha, voluntarily resigned as Zonal Legal Services Officer, North East to return to private practice at Masu Chambers. He is married and blessed with kids. He speaks Kanuri, Hausa and English fluently. Reading, Writing, Travelling and exploring opportunities are his hobbies and interests. He is a proud member of Nigerian Bar Association and the Corporate Affairs Commission.
